Family Information Services

A new piece of research from the Family & Childcare Information Trust examines how local authorities around England are supporting families via outreach and childcare services. Under legislation from 2006, local authorities should offer services which provide information about childcare and other related activities to parents , children and young people. But the new report found that some areas do not receive any services at all, and others have cut their provision in recent years.
