Effective Early Childhood Education Programmes

New research from the CfBT Education Trust examines the effectiveness of 28 different early education programmes. The broad conclusion from the report is that instructive and teacher-led programmes are more effective than play-based ones, although other bodies have raised questions about the findings. The report comes at a sensitive time, in light of the ongoing review of the EYFS.
