Baby Bonds is the title of a new piece of research from the Sutton Trust. This latest report reviews various previous studies on attachment, and investigates how emotional bonds between babies and parents can affect the child's future outcomes. Already the research has made headlines for its claim that 40% of children are at risk of developing literacy problems because of a failure to bond with their parents.
